Southern Africa CGS Bedrock and Structural Geology

The 1:2.5 m digital geological map covering the whole of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) is available in this OGC WMS service for your personal, non-commercial use only and is being served as a contribution to the OneGeology initiative (www.onegeology.org). Two layers comprising bedrock geology and linear and structural features are available in this service. The layer available for bedrock, Southern_Africa_CGS_2500k_BLS, comprises lithostratigraphy and the linear and structural features layer, Southern_Africa_CGS_2500k_MSF, comprises linear geological features to small to indicate as polygons at the map scale such as dykes and faults.
