USA USGIN 1:3M Lithostratigraphy

portrayal in which units are categorized according to the original map units defined in Reed et al. (2005). The color scheme has been adopted from that provided by Garrity and Soller (2009) to make it compatible with simple WMS service by removing the overlay patterns and adjusting colors slightly to get sufficient distinction between units. An SLD specifying the symbolization for this layer is at http://repository.azgs.az.gov/resources/slds/xml/LithostratigraphyGMNAMapUnit.sld. This legend assigns colors based on the unit abbreviations (simplied slightly) from Reed et al, which are in the GenericSymbolizer field in the data for the layer, so this sld is quite specific to the data for this layer.
