The data are from the geographic meridional beam 6, range gate 4 (315 km range). The meteor wind data are measured a few hundred km south of the radar site, and the position is only known approximately. Hence the stated location is an approximate measurement location. Data collection: The data were measured by the Falkland Islands SuperDARN radar. The raw data were analysed using the SuperDARN FitACF v2.5. Data quality: The meteor wind data are generally of high quality with low errors. See Chisham and Freeman (2013) for full details regarding data processing. asNeeded completed
