UK Onshore Geophysical Library well data
This dataset contains information relating to onshore and offshore wells across the UK distributed by the UK Onshore Geophysical Library (UKOGL). This includes digital well log data, scanned images of wireline logs and well reports (either from scans or from digital). In addition, information on well meta and well trajectory is also available for a subset of boreholes.
Digital well log data is supplied in LAS file format which is an ASCII space separated text format. This can be decoded using both proprietary and non-proprietary software.
The data is a mixture of wells drilled under licence from the North Sea Transition Authority, wells donated to UKOGL, data digitised by UKOGL or data supplied by the British Geological Survey.
