The raw binary data collected by the instrument was converted into physical units using the Rockland Scientific ODAS data processing MatLab Library v4.4 (2019-06-05). Data collection: Rockland Scientific VMP-250 turbulence profiler Data quality: The instrument was factory calibrated prior to deployment. Shear data have a stated accuracy of 5% and a resolution of 10-3 s-1. High-resolution FP07 micro-temperature data have a stated accuracy of 0.005°C and a resolution of 10-5°C. Pressure data have an accuracy of 5% of the full-scale, with a resolution of 5×10-4 bar. Standard resolution temperature and conductivity data have an accuracy of 0.01°C and 0.01 mS cm-1, respectively, and a resolution of 0.001°C and 0.001 mS cm-1, respectively. Data from each probe has been calibrated using the parameters in the corresponding instrument configuration file.
