This is part of CCAMLR's Marine Debris Program. Surveys are carried out once per month during the winter period and once during the summer period, usually at the end of March. Debris type and description are recorded along with weight (kg) and debris size. Debris type is recorded under the categories in CCAMLR's Marine Debris Program.
