Water Quality Dashboard
The Water Quality Dashboard is a series of spatio-temporal dashboards indicating the presence of certain nutrients, metals, pollutants and physico-chemical elements extracted for the area of ‘Hertfordshire and North London’ and ‘Kent and South London’.
The data is displayed in annual and monthly averages at sampling locations extracted from the WIMS dataset (the Water Quality Archive made) available by the Environment Agency.
Data from all freshwater river sample points collected for the purpose of “environmental monitoring statutory (EU directives)” (purpose code “MS”) with monitoring of selected determinands (substances) were used in the analysis.
The Water Quality Dashboard allows the visualisation of measurements of river water quality across London. Variations in river water quality across an area, or in time, are presented using a range of maps, time plots, and graphs with determinands grouped in the following catgeories:

As part of the Camellia project, the Water Quality Dashboard was created using ArcGIS Online configurable Dashboards. The various datasets have been sourced from the Water Quality Archive and have been transformed to be displayed as a spatio-temporal map series using average monthly and annual values.
