Each female was given the opportunity to mate with two different males from the stock population during a two-week period. The females were then exposed to an experimental treatment of either 50% or 30% relative humidity for two weeks during gestation. Subsequently, all females were kept at 50% relative humidity for 10 weeks, after which the number of nymphs and clutches per female were counted. Data collection took place from 29/12/23 to 23/01/24. Quality checking against original laboratory notebooks and reformatting took place from 18/03/24 to 05/08/24.
