Vehicle licensing statistics
The dataset contains a range of vehicle licensing and registered statistics in the Great Britain and United Kingdom since 2001.
‘VEH1103: Licensed vehicles at the end of the quarter by body type and fuel type: Great Britain and United Kingdom’ provides data that can be used to estimate the in-use stocks of the materials in vehicles.
‘VEH1153: Vehicles registered for the first time by body type and fuel type: Great Britain and United Kingdom’ provides the data that can be used to estimate the inflows of materials in vehicles.
‘df_VEH0160_UK: Vehicles registered for the first time by body type, make, generic model and model: United Kingdom’ and ‘df_VEH0120_UK: Vehicles at the end of the quarter by licence status, body type, make, generic model and model: United Kingdom’ provide the information on the vehicle model, which can be used to map the vehicle models and battery types.
The data will be of value to all those interested in tracking the flows and stocks of materials in different types of vehicles.
