Statement: This temperature dataset was developed using available temperature data from four boreholes accessing the Fell Sandstone Formation in the Northumberland-Solway Basin and compiled in the last version of the UK Geothermal Catalogue (Rollin, 1987). Additional borehole data were used to interpolate the temperature at the depth of the Fell Sandstone Formation, based on maps compiled in the Northumberland-Solway Basin memoir (1995) ISBN 0 11 884501 2.
