The metrics were derived from pesticide application rates and toxicity metrics from exotoxicology experiments. The data was derived to investigate spatial and temporal patterns of risk from exposure to pesticides for non-target invertebrates. The pesticide application data were derived from the Pesticide Usage Survey, supplied at a regional scale and downscaled to 5 Km grid cells using the agCensus data on crops.
