Sampling interval was 1.2 ns and each trace represents a distance-average stack of eight individual traces, resulting in an average trace spacing of ~2.5 m. Data collection: Data were acquired with a Sensors&Software pulsEKKO PRO GPR system, fitted with antennas of 50 MHz centre-frequency. In a bistatic configuration, the dipole antennas were mounted in a perpendicular-broadside configuration on a plastic sledge (antenna separation 1.4 m), towed behind a skidoo. Sampling interval was 1.2 ns and each trace represents a distance-average stack of eight individual traces, resulting in an average trace spacing of ~2.5 m.
