Climate data were re-gridded to 0.25 degrees using bilinear interpolation. Climate data has been bias-corrected using the Quantile mapping method with reference to 1981-2010 period observations. Bias correction of rainfall data is carried out using empirical distribution, which avoids assumptions about distribution fitting and corrects rainfall intensity and frequency. This method is more effective in reducing biases than using a theoretical distribution. For future rainfall values larger than those during the reference period, a correction factor for the highest quantile is used. Bias correction of temperature is carried out by fitting in a normal distribution.
