Surface sediments were grabbed using a Van Veen grab sampler. Water was taken 1 meter above the sediment. Specific sampling dates: 7/10/21, 8/4/22, 20/01/23, 18/04/2023, 13/11/23 Samples were then screened for antibiotics and geochemical parameters at IIT Bombay, or stabilised and transported to Scotland for metal analysis. Antibiotics were quantified using an LC-MS orbitrap. Metals quantified using ICP-AES.
