The data consist of vertical profiles of pressure, temperature, relative humidity, humidity mixing ratio, sonde position, wind speed and wind direction. Measurements are taken at 2 second intervals and the ascents extend to heights of approximately 20-30 km. An ASCII formatted set of files are also available from 1990 to 2000 within this dataset. The ascent files are then delivered to CEDA for ingesting into the archive approximately 1 month in arrears. The ASCII version of the data were provided in support of operations of the MST radar facility near Aberystwyth and are included in this dataset as provided at that time.
