This data was created to analyse the response of aquatic biodiversity to glacial retreat, studying rivers in a gradient of glacial coverage. The sampling work was carried out from October 14 to 30, 2019 and from October 7 to 16, 2020. The collected substrate was placed in airtight bags preserved with 96% ethyl alcohol in the field. The identification was carried out using the taxonomic manuals by Domínguez & Fernández (2009) and Prat et al. (2011). More detail is available in the supporting documentation accompanying the data.
