Cobalt: BGS Commodity Review

This dataset contains a detailed description of cobalt including information on general characteristics, mineralogy, deposit types, and the figures on world resources and reserves of cobalt. Further, it describes the supply chain stages including the extraction, processing, and refining and provides detailed information on uses, prices, and substitution of cobalt. World production, trade and consumption data are also included in the dataset.

The data will be of value to all those interested in tracking and understanding the cobalt mineralogy, deposit types, uses, and potential resources and reserves in the UK and globally.
