BGS Falklands Island Government bedrock and superficial geology

Falkland Islands OneGeology WMS Service. This data covering the whole of the Falkland Islands is available in this OGC WMS service for your personal, non-commercial use only and is being served as a contribution to the OneGeology initiative(www.onegeology.org). Separate bedrock geology and superficial deposits and Structural faults layers are available in this service. Layers available for bedrock are lithostratigraphy and age (ICS 2008). The layer available for superficial deposits is lithostratigraphy. The layer available for structures is faults. Service provided by the British Geological Survey from data provided by Falkland Islands Government. The data is copyright Falkland Islands Government. Data derived from Geology of the Falkland Islands (Two sheets - East and West. Scale 1:250 000) 1998, compiled by D T Aldiss and E J Edwards.
