These included already-established models such as Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs (InVEST) and Landis-II, and some models specifically created for the AgLand project. The nature and units of recorded variables related to the appropriate ecosystem service. The quality control of each ecosystem service data was mostly carried out through sense checks (e.g. using values within feasible ranges). The limitations on the data’s reliability vary depending on the specific ecosystem service that was modelled.
