Locations edited in ArcMap as shapefiles and converted to kml. The dataset includes colony names, latitude and longitude coordinates of colonies local across the circumpolar Antarctic coastline. The dataset is in the projection WGS 1984. Data quality: The data are correct to within 2 km at the time of digitisation. However, emperor penguin colonies move, both within a season and over the course of different seasons, so this should be taken as a snapshot of locations at this time. asNeeded completed
