Statement

The data in Rivox were collected using displacement sensors, all other sites used strain gauges. In the four UK sites, wind data were collected at 10 Hz using a 3D sonic anemometer on a tower at canopy height. Wind data for the trees in Australia were collected using a cup anemometer. No wind data was collected in Guanica. No pre-processing, filtering or quality control has been conducted on these data. They have only been downloaded from the data loggers and merged into continuous time-series. The data were used to estimate wind damage risk and no additional processing was needed.
